Good in Christian Science

In the New Church Independent we find the following brotherly reference to Christian Science, its Leader, and one of her hymns. We assure our brother that his words of tenderness find a grateful place in the hearts of all Christian Scientists:—

We publish in this number a criticism on Christian Science, by one of our talented contributors, comparing Swedenborg's statements with Mrs. Eddy's system. We have found a great deal of good in this Christian Science faith. It is peaceful—quieting—uplifting—spiritualizing. It comes to the troubled heart, tossed about on the stormy ocean of life, like the voice of Christ stilling the tempest. We quote from one of Mrs. Eddy's beautiful hymns:—
