The Christian Science Sermon
A word of commendation of the capable and superior service rendered by our Bible Lesson Committee may not be untimely.
These faithful servants are performing a work for the cause of Truth which is creditable to a high degree. Working silently and unseen in a sweetly impersonal atmosphere by which they are surrounded, this committee is rendering an increasingly intelligent and effective service to the world, the far-reaching good results of which are tremendous.
Their task is a weighty one, fraught with responsibilities which few exceed at this hour, and they execute their mission with a true breadth, strength, and progressiveness which is presenting to humanity these chosen subjects and the Word of God, both long shrouded in mystery, in a light which may be said to be at once plain, practical, simple, and complete.
