The Power of Prayer
Recently, after struggling all day against a physical trouble, and seeming only the more wearied because of the lack of demonstration, I became aware that the need was not so much relief from physical suffering as it was freedom from material consciousness, and a clearer understanding of Love.
Turning to God in earnest prayer for divine Love to guide me in all my ways and deliver me from temptation, consciousness was filled with peace and light and I was instantaneously healed.
The sense of deliverance from the physical suffering was insignificant compared to the consciousness of the power of prayer to demonstrate man's unity with God.
