Healed of Many Ills

When "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" was placed in my hands, life seemed to be, what it really is, a mere existence—an enigma to be solved at some future day. I was not unhappy, discontented, nor a physical sufferer. I had a good home and a good husband, but there were ever these questions in mind: What is life? What are we here for? Why have we no proof of what God is? Why this aimless waiting? Waiting for what? Oh, to know what God is and our relation to Him.

Little did I dream that these questions could ever be answered this side the grave. When I learned that a book had been written thirty years before answering them all, and giving a Principle to be applied and demonstrated in our daily lives, my joy was full; but this was not all the glad messenger had in store for me. Physical healing was taking place: astigmatism of the eyes was healed, glasses were laid aside, catarrh and grip had to yield their sceptre. Then the dust-covered Bible came out from its hiding to give up its once hidden treasures of love and peace and joy. My heart o'erflows with gratitude to the Mother in Israel for all the good that has ever come into my life, and that is still in store as each new step is demonstrated and a higher altitude reached.
