A Grateful Acknowledgment
Not long ago I was called to a little town in the southern part of Indiana to visit a lady who was suffering with nervous prostration. She received Christian Science treatment and was healed in about one week.
Soon after a little girl called and said Christian Science had been recommended to her mother, who was then in bed, and had been most of the time for over six years. I went with her and found as she had said. In bed was a very thin, pale woman wearing glasses, and a pair of crutches stood in one corner of the room. I gave a treatment and talked with her about two hours, answering questions about Christian Science. Then she arose and walked across the room without crutches seven times. After returning to Chicago I continued the treatment, and the following is an extract from the last letter I received from her.
