Visiting Christian Scientists

Concord Evening Monitor

Among the visitors present at the Wednesday evening meeting in Christian Science Hall last evening was Mr. Gibbs, from Sydney, Australia, who had traveled ten thousand miles to learn more of Christian Science and to visit the home of its revered Leader, the Rev. Mary Baker Eddy. Mrs. Colles of London, England, told of the prosperity of the cause, not only in that great metropolis but throughout Great Britain. In Dublin and Belfast, Ireland, the movement is well established. In Edinburgh, Scotland, is a growing congregation. A letter was read from a Christian Scientist in far-away New Zealand, speaking of the growing interest there, and requesting that a lecturer be sent to them.

The home land had a representative in a leading business man of Cleveland, Ohio, who spoke with conviction of the practical value of Christian Science to business men.
