The Harmony of Life
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." "Ask what ye will."
Here, then, is the solution of all peaceful, prosperous, and perfect living. What, then, can be the matter with poor humanity, irritable, thoughtless, incompetent, selfish, poverty-stricken, disease-stricken, sinning, dying, mortal man—the direct opposite of man as the image and likeness of God—Supreme Good?
Jeremiah, 50:6, explains what the trouble is very clearly. "My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountains to hill, they have forgotten their resting-place."
