Amputation Unnecessary

A gentleman had a bull nettle sting on his foot. He was suffering great agony and his foot was so badly swollen that it was turning purple and yellow, and water was escaping in several places. He had been told that he would have to have his foot amputated. He called for Christian Science treatment one Sunday morning; the next day at one o'clock his foot ceased to pain him. He also had fever, and that left him. He went right on with his work of picking cotton, and did not stop but once, and that was to make his report to his healer.
