It is with a great deal of gratitude and pleasure that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science, which my husband and I witnessed with the birth of our child. The birth took place in a hospital, and a medical doctor was in attendance, as required by law.
When I was eight and a half months pregnant, I was found to have a condition of acute toxemia, and the life of the child and my own life seemed to be endangered.
A Christian Science practitioner had been engaged to treat me through prayer, and she was also, of course, praying for the child.
