A Wednesday night
Outside, the rain fell,
refreshing the dry grass,
replacing the warm air with
cool sweet breezes.
Inside, the words fell,
refreshing the listeners,
renewing, uplifting, quenching
the thirsty hearts with Truth.
Satisfied, the congregation rose,
and departed into the damp darkness,
ready to grow again.
