Years of Loneliness or Days of Joyful Expectation?

Has someone you love slipped out of your experience? Nobody wants to reach the situation mentioned in Science and Health: "Would existence without personal friends be to you a blank? Then the time will come when you will be solitary, left without sympathy; but this seeming vacuum is already filled with divine Love." Mrs. Eddy goes on to say, "When this hour of development comes, even if you cling to a sense of personal joys, spiritual Love will force you to accept what best promotes your growth." Science and Health, p. 266;

How can this vacuum of loneliness be filled, you may ask, when I feel so incomplete? Where can I turn for comfort?

My own consciousness was once deeply stirred when I found myself suddenly alone and forced to start all over again. At that time I turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science.
