In an article published in the Sentinel of July 1959, a healing was related that I experienced through realizing more clearly the perfection of God and man. This healing has been permanent. Each year has brought with it more joy in spiritual activity, resulting in a better sense of health than ever before.

This past year my thought has been alerted to a deeper acknowledgment of gratitude for Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

This book has blessed our family for many years. It was given to my mother by her sister in 1905, just before Mother was to leave with my father and two small children for Russia, where Father's work took him as an engineer. Prior to this my mother had had several attacks of gallstones, and this prompted the sister to give her the copy of Science and Health. However, Mother could not understand it, but she did put it into her trunk.
