PRACTITIONER TO PATIENT
Listen, I'm so happy
about this spring—this
breath of right, this bloom of bright
things through you—
"For as the earth
bringeth forth her bud,
and as the garden
causeth the things that are sown in it
to spring forth ...."
God's fragrance blows
from His thoughts sown along your days.
But wait, there's something more.
The old tree sprouts again: it does not yield
old leaves—!
Your life goes on
just as lush and fresh and strong and free.
I tell you, I'm so happy about this spring ....
