I would like to share a healing our daughter had of pneumonia.

We were vacationing in the mountains when she became ill. She had been brought up in Christian Science, so it was natural for us to turn to God for healing. We read the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly, and prayed, applying what we read to the best of our ability. She did not seem to respond, so we called a Christian Science practitioner, who turned our thought to God and perfect man, made in God's image. We both became less fearful after our talk with the practitioner. It seemed wise for us to make the one-hundred-and-sixty-mile trip home.

On our arrival the family was shocked to see our daughter's appearance. She had lost weight and had not been able to retain food for several days. I am very grateful for the loving support the practitioner gave by coming to see and talk to her almost every day. The complete healing did not come quickly. This statement was a great help to me. Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 454), "Wait patiently for divine Love to move upon the waters of mortal mind, and form the perfect concept."
