As I have been a Christian Scientist for forty-three years, my first testimony in the periodicals is long past due.

When I was a child I had Saint Vitus's dance. It left me in a very nervous condition. None of the doctors we went to could cure me. I later learned that one of them said I would not live to graduate from the twelfth grade. I had many bilious attacks and I was skin and bones and in a poor mental state.

I had heard of Christian Science a few times and once I saw an edifice of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, in a city. I later found out there had been a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy in our library, which my sister had acquired. I had an aunt living in another state who was a Christian Scientist.
