I am thirteen years old and have attended a Christian Science Sunday School since I was a very small child. I wish to tell how I used Christian Science to work out a problem.

With money I received for Christmas, I bought a new ten-speed bicycle to ride to school. I had had the bike only about two months when it was taken from our front porch. I immediately called a good friend of mine who is a Christian Science practitioner. We talked for a while, and in telling me of some truths to keep in thought, she mentioned a testimony of a woman who had had her purse taken. She was praying daily and getting a better understanding of God's good government right here. After about six months her purse was returned to her with all its contents.

My mother and I talked many times of keeping thought clear of any condemnation and of affirming the true qualities of God's man, made in His likeness. We also spoke many times of the testimony my friend had told to me.
