Our Identity in Spirit
To understand and joyfully experience man's oneness with God as His expression, we need to be concerned primarily with our true, spiritual identity. "The one Spirit includes all identities," Science and Health, p. 333; we read in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
What is spiritual identity? It may be defined as blissful, Christlike individuality, as divine Mind's reflection of itself. It is the conscious manifestation of the great I am .
Understanding our true identity enables us to get rid of trouble-producing concepts, the dualistic belief that man is both material and spiritual or the belief that man is mortal now but will be spiritual at some future time. Now and always the true man's identity is the harmonious, individual expression of God. His being is the perfect manifestation of perfect Mind.
