Today's Blessings
Can you pause at the end of a day and thank God for the blessings it has brought?
It is God's nature to fill each day with wonderful things. But too often we are so occupied with some future want that we fail to recognize what divine Love is giving us now. And very often the anxiety we express over the outcome of some plan we have is the cause of our not getting the plan worked out.
Christ Jesus said, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself." Matt. 6:34; When we obey this command, we are free to work out the problems of today. God always supplies us with all we need to do this work. But if we wallow in our anxiety over what may or may not work out next week or next month, we do not recognize what God gives us, and we do not take the steps we should take today to realize God's present goodness.
