I wish to relate a recent experience, in loving and sincere gratitude to God for the protection and guidance that Christian Science has brought me, for the healings, joy, comfort, and provision it has brought into my life and the lives of my family.

For many years I have flown private aircraft. I am qualified to fly on instruments and have the use of a well-equipped aircraft. On this particular occasion I was to fly from Syracuse, New York, to Boston, Massachusetts, and return. In my preparation for the trip I called a Christian Science practitioner, requesting specific work for protection and guidance. As I hung up the phone, I had the thought to take with me a small, battery-powered aircraft radio receiver. It was not my habit to take this radio, and I had difficulty finding room in my flight case. I placed it next to my flashlight which I always kept in the case.
