Lack Has No Cause
In every instance, when applied with deep conviction, a fixed divine law can heal one of poverty, unemployment, loneliness, shortages of natural resources—every form of lack. This law is based on the fundamental fact that unchanging Principle, God, governs man.
In the Bible we read, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17; God's love for us is constant. He never deprives man of good but by His very nature bestows it impartially and abundantly.
The practicality of Christian Science can be proved as we apply spiritual facts to the evident human need. In our prayers we can affirm the completeness of God's creation and His perpetually perfect care of His children. We can realize that God's spiritual creation is the only real state of being, and that through our understanding of this truth we are helping to bring the facts of harmonious being into human view.
