Dear Larry:

Dad has written me this week, saying you've just received an adverse medical verdict. He says he offered you a copy of Science and Health, as I suggested—says you're planning to read it carefully and are grateful for our interest.

You'd better believe it, we're interested! I wonder if you know I had just such a medical verdict once myself. At a time when I had a paralyzed leg, I was told I might be entirely paralyzed by the time I was thirty. Well, something in me just couldn't quite buy that, and soon Christian Science had healed the condition, permanently. And what's more, I know why and how.
