I am nine years old, and I love Christian Science very much

I am nine years old, and I love Christian Science very much. I have been in the Sunday School since I was two.

One summer I was at my grandmother's house in Wisconsin. I was playing by a woodpile when some bees started to chase and sting me. I ran as fast as I could into the house, where my mother was.

She said that bees are God's creatures and could not hurt me. I was crying, but we talked about the fact that God created all and made everything good, so there was no room for evil of any kind. From then on I was all right, and there was no swelling from the bee stings.

Later a friend of mine told me that when he saw bees his father said to run into the house. I told him God is his Father and Mother and doesn't let him be afraid. Bees make honey, not hurts. The Bible teaches "God is love" (I John 4:8), and I know this is true.
