[Ability to demonstrate Christian Science comes with study and practice of the truth taught by Christ Jesus and revealed in Science and Health. This series touches upon some ways in which this truth can be applied.]
Healing through the grace of God
All true, permanent healing of human discord takes place through the grace of God. "By grace are ye saved through faith," says the writer of the Epistle to the Ephesians. "And that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." Eph. 2:8;
Grace is the infinite, impartial, all-embracing, caring love of God for His spiritual offspring. It is God's free gift to man—the expression of divine power, which holds every individual man and woman perfect in His likeness. It ensures that each one in his real being is eternally harmonious as Soul's reflection.
The revelation of God's love, God's grace, is not miraculous. It appears in human consciousness through the development of Christly power. It was manifested to mankind through Christ Jesus, who not only revealed the love of the divine Father but showed how all men everywhere could benefit from God's healing grace through prayer.
