A DANCER'S BLISS
Presently forgotten
hours of disciplined practice
now culminate on stage
in effortless extension of leg,
dazzling dimension of movement,
exquisite expression of Soul.
Thoughts of muscle dispelled,
stretch becomes
elongated inspiration
reaching beyond
limited mortal structure
to limitless
realms of grace.
Polished symmetry performed,
agile beauty achieved:
departed the crowds,
dimmed the lights,
deserted the stage.
Dawning within:
the radiant glow
of a dancer's bliss.
