THE TENTH LEPER

Ella Mae King

He alone turned back;
He alone was grateful:
He did not lack
The thankful heart.

He was not proud.
Unashamedly he glorified God;
His voice was loud
With praise.

He was made whole.

The others—they did not know,
They did not know their lack;
They would have turned back.
