I sometimes wonder how many people, like myself, have never submitted a testimony to any of the periodicals. Christian Science has been my only physician and counselor during my entire lifetime. Certainly, continuous daily protection has brought peace of mind and harmony to me and my family. Our four children are fifth-generation Christian Scientists.
I have had instantaneous healings and some that have seemed to take years, but for me all Christian Science healings have one thing in common—they are always permanent.
Soon after my birth my parents were informed that I had a heart problem. This was confirmed by my grandfather, an M. D., who stated that when I grew up I would never be able to get into the armed services.
