"A discerner of the thoughts"

The writer of the Epistle to the Hebrews speaks of the word of God as "quick, and powerful,...a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebr. 4:12;

The testimony that reaches human thought from what is printed and seen and heard makes up a picture of both good and evil. At times good appears to predominate, at times evil.

Mrs. Eddy writes, "If we observe our mental processes, we shall find that we are perpetually arguing with ourselves; yet each mortal is not two personalities, but one.
