RADIO PROGRAM NO. 357 - Overcoming Fear of Accidents

[The speaker is Jack Krieger, who is active in the healing ministry of Christian Science. Robert McKinnon is the questioner.]

Questioner: We all know people who are especially afraid of falls or other types of accidents. What do you think somebody can do who's accident-prone or very much afraid of accidents?

Speaker: Well, I'd like to offer that individual some comfort and assure him that there is something he can do. He might begin by asking himself a couple of questions. Do accidents just happen? Is there a higher source for safety than just being careful? Actually, the quality of a person's thinking, his understanding of God and of man, has a bearing on his whole experience. So the question of overcoming fear of accidents or accidents themselves has a religious dimension.
