I have had so much help from Christian Science that it seems a little difficult to express my gratitude in words.

I have been an entertainer for many years. This has been my only occupation, and of course I travel extensively.

While playing Melbourne, Australia, some years ago, I injured my back during rehearsals. The medical verdict was that I could not walk again unless surgery was performed. I could not move without excessive pain. A friend spoke to me of Christian Science at some length, and I tried to follow his thinking. With assistance I managed to reach the Christian Science church on Sunday and was able to walk out unassisted. The back steadily improved, and I made an appointment with a Christian Science practitioner, who explained the truths of Christian Science and taught me how to study. I was soon back doing my act, which required acrobatic dancing. This healing was my introduction to Christian Science.
