The Other Fellow

"Do you enjoy driving a car?"

"Yes, but it would be more enjoyable if it were not for the other fellow. He's an absolute menace!"

It seems all too easy to pin the blame on the other fellow, and there must be few drivers who have not at some time or other engaged in this subtle form of condemnation. Certainly the other fellow may sometimes appear to be careless, selfish, and thoughtless. But to accept these negative qualities as real and attach them to him will not prevent the dangerous situations for which he is deemed responsible.
