I feel compelled to write my testimony as one more witness to the truth contained in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

My husband came home from work one day at noon. He was very ill and went to bed. He seemed to have no use of his legs and was incapacitated for nine months. One morning while I was making him comfortable, the thought came to me to put Science and Health on the table where he could reach it. As I did so, these words came to my thought from the Bible (Josh. 24:15): "Choose you this day whom ye will serve." When I came back into the room, my husband was reading Science and Health.

It was not until I became ill with the same complaint that he got out of bed one morning and began to make progress every day. He is now in good health and is very active. This happened over twenty-one years ago. He is now seventy-eight years young.
