I have been a student of Christian Science for many years and have had many beautiful healings both for my family and myself. There is one outstanding healing I should like to share with you.

I had been interested in Christian Science for about two years when my son was born. At his birth it was found that his hip was dislocated. My husband was not interested in Christian Science and wished to call in a specialist, who said that nothing could be done for the child until he was old enough to begin walking. The doctor gave me orders regarding the care of the leg and told me not to let the child creep or attempt to stand. He asked that I take him to a surgeon to have the leg set when he was about six months old. Although young in Science, I decided, with my husband's consent, to leave the problem entirely with God and not follow the doctor's instructions.

When the baby was about six months old, he began to creep, and after a short time to stand up while holding onto a chair. Trusting and praying to know that God's law of adjustment was in operation, I knew that a spiritual idea—the child's true being —could never become dislocated in any way.
