Undelayed Healing
It is natural to expect a quick healing when one turns understandingly to God. That this is often what happens is cause for great gratitude. Sometimes, however, a short or even a long delay is encountered. Then it is that frustration and discouragement may enter in. The plaintive cry may be raised: "Why can't I get my healing?" The fact that this question is asked shows something of the nature of the problem, for the answer is: "You can get your healing."
We can claim our freedom—our present freedom—from the impositions of error, whether in the form of sickness, sin, lack, loneliness, inadequacy, fear, or frustration. We have a God-given right to experience the healing power and presence of divine Love this very moment.
We can be profoundly grateful for the glorious truth that all good is available here and now. Health, harmony, completeness, right activity, and freedom are not far-off, vainly hoped-for goals but present facts about our real, spiritual selfhood as the blessed sons of God. We can say with John, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God," I John 3:2; and enjoy the blessings this great truth has for us.
