Christian Science Church Center PROGRESS REPORT No. 11
Buildings begin with ideas. The new Administration Building represents far more than a simple provision for housing additional personnel. It also represents strong, compassionate outreach to a world in need of spiritual light; it bespeaks vigorous awareness of infinite new possibilities for helping mankind.
When members of The Mother Church headquarters staff move into the new Administration Building, they will find pleasant, contemporary offices that will make the work go faster. Carefully planned work areas will save steps and provide the convenience of having the key offices of all departments under one roof instead of seven. But most important, this will allow more time for thoughtful, creative service to the Field and to the world.
Before architectural staffs began plans on their drawing boards, skilled business consultants were quietly gathering facts and figures. For several years qualified experts have been making a study of thousands of details of office procedures. Whenever possible, their recommendations have been acted upon immediately. But many additional recommendations have been put in the hands of the Church Development office for integration into plans for the new Administration Building.
