The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on september 10, 1967.

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I (Ps. 61:2)

Dummelow suggests that the passage refers to "'a rock too high for me,' some inaccessible place of security"; while Smith's translation reads, "Upon a rock that is too high for me, thou wilt set me." Moffatt, however, prefers to render, "When troubles are too strong for me, do thou direct me."

The holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus (II Tim. 3:15)
