RADIO PROGRAM NO. 282 - The Continuity of God's Law of Healing, Part II

Questioner: Last week we were talking about God's law of healing and how we use the Bible to learn more about it.

Speaker: Yes, and we defined law as a demand for right action reaching into a lawless situation to correct it and govern it. We spoke about Christ Jesus' healing of the centurion's servant and the centurion's recognition of Jesus' healing power as the operation of divine law in human experience; that it was not a personal gift but the operation of unchanging Principle, the divine law that is present everywhere to correct the human situation, just as the laws of flight are present in every place. It would be possible for an engineer to send instructions for the construction of a plane, for example, across the continent, across the world. The law would apply anywhere. It's universal.

And so Christ Jesus' recognition of the healing law, in operation right where the man was, didn't necessitate his being there bodily. It was the law that did the healing, not the personal presence.
