What God Knows
In Christian Science we learn that God is divine Mind and that this Mind knows only its own creation, man. God knows man individually and collectively. Therefore, what God knows is you.
God does not know a false, material sense of man, for God, Spirit, can know only the true, spiritual man. As we understand this, what happens to the material concept of man? Never known by God, it begins to fade from our consciousness. As we replace material beliefs about man with spiritual facts, what happens to you and me individually? We find that our true selfhood is manifested in our human experience more substantially than ever before.
In reality we are known of God, Mind, as His spiritual ideas. Our real selfhood is not material; it is spiritual—the image and likeness of Spirit, God, as man is described in the first chapter of Genesis.
