I wish to express my gratitude for Christ Jesus, our great Exemplar and Way-shower, and for Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

This religion was presented to my family through the gift of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. One of my sisters was healed of a hip injury after having treatment by a Christian Science practitioner. My mother was healed with the help of a practitioner of a cancerous growth for which the medical doctor could offer no help except by an operation. One of my sons was healed by the work of the same practitioner of the disease previously diagnosed by physicians as osteomyelitis. Their verdict was that he would probably lose his arm but that if it was saved it would be useless. By absolute reliance on the power of God it was completely healed and has given him many years of normal service.
