In my desire to testify to the healing power of Christian Science, I find it difficult to know where to start, for I have had many proofs of God's care and guidance as a result of my study of this religion and the help received from practitioners.

As the tree is born of the seed, so all my experience and progress must have germinated from the moment I was willing to listen to what Christian Science had to say.

Twice previously it had come to my attention, only to be rejected as another ism. However, on the third occasion, when I was suffering both mentally and physically, a friend placed in my hands a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I had not read more than a few pages of the first chapter, which is on Prayer, before I realized that I had found the pearl of great price.
