One night I had a mishap in our home and lost consciousness
One night I had a mishap in our home and lost consciousness. When I became conscious again, my husband was calling my name. The first thought that came to me was (Ps. 23:1), "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." Immediately I asked my husband to call a Christian Science practitioner.
Because there was severe pain in my arm and shoulder, my thoughts were filled with fear; but that was allayed as soon as the practitioner began to work. Then I was able to realize clearly that man has never fallen, and I dwelt on the many truths we learn in Christian Science. For three days I was completely free from fear, and on the third night I felt my arm slip into place at the shoulder. I was completely healed.
