Some years ago there was a series of television programs entitled "How Christian Science Heals." I viewed a few of them, thought they were wonderful, and felt that all that was said was true. But I did not consider Science for myself, although at that time I had already spent several years suffering from weakness and many complications, the results of the most severe type of nervous exhaustion.
Some months later a duodenal ulcer which had also developed began to hemorrhage, and I went to a hospital for blood transfusions. I came home too weak to be out of bed at all, and the hemorrhaging began again. In this extremity my thought turned to Christian Science.
From newspaper announcements I knew there were a Church of Christ, Scientist, and a Christian Science Reading Room in a nearby town, and I got in touch with them. In a few days I was receiving treatment from a practitioner. I immediately began to reap the benefits.
