Open to me the gates of righteousness (Ps. 118:19)

The Hebrew tsedek, here translated "righteousness," is often employed to connote "righteousness as vindicated," and so "justification" or "victory." Smith translates, "Open for me the gates of victory"; while Moffatt suggests, "Open to me the gates of Victory."
