My first testimony of healing...

My first testimony of healing appeared in The Christian Science Journal in 1924. During the intervening years a great many more blessings have come into my experience, thanks to the power of divine Principle, which underlies the teaching of Christian Science.

Among some of those blessings, I can mention my emergence unscathed from a serious automobile collision and also personal safety in a raging fire which completely destroyed our home and many other homes to the point where the whole district was declared a national disaster area, and protection from financial loss as the result of the fire.

However, the specific healing for which I wish to express my gratitude in this testimony is that of recurring attacks of tonsillitis, which plagued me all through my school and college years. These attacks, which often required about a week in bed, were treated by physicians in Denmark, where I then lived.
