"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted" (Matt. 5:4). These words of Christ Jesus were proved true in my experience. My husband and I had lost our youngest child, and through the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner I was lifted above the experience of grief.

My gratitude for this proof of God's power to heal caused me to pursue the study of Christian Science eagerly. I joined a branch church and later became a member of The Mother Church.

A physical difficulty that was not diagnosed, so I cannot give it a name, gave my family much concern. Seeing their anxiety, I asked a practitioner to give me treatment. In a very short time I was completely freed from this condition.
