Signs of the Times
Bible Society Record
From an editorial in the American Bible Society Record New York, New York
Today the Christian Church in Japan is approaching the million mark in membership....Christians are a small minority, ... but the fact that so many are prominent individuals causes the few to stand out on the national scene. Their conduct and leadership in government, education, and business are widely respected.
It cannot be said that there is any prospect in the near future of changing Japan into a Christian nation, although it can be stated that the seed has fallen upon fertile Japanese minds and will bear fruit in its season.
