About three years ago as I was walking to church, I had an accident. I rested quietly where I was for a time, declaring many spiritual truths until I was finally able to continue and go into the church. I went into the rest room and washed some blood from my face and adjusted my hat and otherwise made myself presentable before going into the auditorium.
I had to refuse a Hymnal, as I could not hold it. Both arms were injured. My leg too gave me difficulty, and I was shaken up. Through the good, prayerful help of a practitioner I was doing my housework in a few days and some crocheting, although it was with an effort. In less than three weeks I had full freedom through Christian Science help alone.
About the same time a cyst which I had had on my left eyelid for years opened, and that was the end of it. Before beginning the study of Christian Science, I had twice had a cyst removed surgically, but it appeared again. When friends had recommended at different times that I have this one removed, I had refused, recalling the previous experiences and wishing to demonstrate spiritual healing. The cyst has not reappeared this time.
