God Has No Dropouts
[Of special interest to young men and women]
In view of the somewhat comfortless statistics on the present-day labor market, there would appear to be increasingly few prospects for the school dropout—the so-called diplomaless student.
This is not to imply that the school diploma is the only requirement or that it is the open sesame to that first job, valuable as the diploma is. Correctly viewed, it is better regarded as the reward for integrity of purpose, for clear and alert thinking, for completing a course of study in general or academic education.
And what of the student who fails to graduate through no fault of his own? Is his lot more precarious today? Not necessarily. Christian Science has a healing and relevant message of hope for such a student, as well as a pointed and helpful solution for the deliberate and willful high school dropout.
