"Eternity, not time"
If we are to gain permanent health, we must understand the difference between eternity and time. In eternity, health is a constant fact. It never varies. In time, material health can be either good or bad.
Christian Science reveals eternity as reality, whereas time is but a material concept. Spirit, God, is All-in-all. His manifestation, man and the universe, therefore is spiritual. Man's health expresses the strength, purity, and dominion of Spirit, the loveliness of divine Love, the power of infinite Truth, the immortality of Life.
Matter is but a concept of the carnal, or mortal, mind. The health of the so-called material man is subject to the weakness, impurity, mortality of this false mind. In time one can become ill and get well. In eternity health is. In the words of the Bible (Eccl. 3:15), "That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past."
