"Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). We have proved this many times in our family. My husband was brought up in Christian Science; and soon after marrying him I accepted this religion, because I found it was just what I was looking for.

One of our sons, while attending grade school, had great difficulty with his schoolwork and just barely passed each year. When our son reached the eighth grade, the principal of the school asked me to come and see him and told me that the boy did not really qualify to enter high school, but because of his age he felt it would be wise to allow him to enter and to take the terminal course which consisted only of grades nine and ten. After that he would have to learn a trade.

The first week in high school proved to be very hard on the boy, and each afternoon he would return home with a severe headache. He also had fainting spells. A Christian Science practitioner was called to help our son. Treatment was given, and the headaches and fainting; spells stopped almost immediately. The practitioner continued to give him prayerful help in regard to his schoolwork, and the boy faithfully studied each week's Lesson-Sermon, given in the Christian Science Quarterly. along with his homework. His schoolwork greatly improved. In both the Christmas and the Easter examinations he came first in his class of thirty-two.
