Challenges Overcome Through Scientific Right Thinking
In "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany," Mrs. Eddy makes this statement (p. 232): "The right way wins the right of way, even the way of Truth and Love whereby all our debts are paid, mankind blessed, and God glorified."
The following report from Germany shows that through the unfoldment of right ideas, a branch church met its need for a better location and subsequently overcame with joy and gratitude its fears and its lack of sufficient funds:
"At the time of the signing of our lease for the Reading Room, we were offered a suitable hall for rent on the street floor of a new building. The space could be converted into a church auditorium and a Sunday School room. The building is centrally located, and there are good streetcar and bus connections, as well as parking facilities.
